This unique system of credit card has specially been designed to motivate the students of classes VI and above and to provide them direct reward instantly so that they can co-relate their hard work with the resultant reward and strive further for excellence. It provides them with very short term goals which can be achieved with little effort but at the same time these short term goals form a part of the long term objectives of creating self esteem, responsibility, savings and a general and practical understanding of the socio-economic and commercial system so essential for one and all in today's world. The children are awarded with points in their class tests which can be accumulated to buy credit cards which are available in four categories Platinum Z, Platinum, Gold and Silver for 500, 150, 75 and 25 points respectively. The students after buying the cards become members of the credit card club. The club has a credit shop and a bank. The bank is operated by the club in which the members can open a savings account or fixed deposit account and earn in terms of interest allowed by the bank twice a year in September and March. LPC has designed a unique way of rewarding the junior students of class V and below by awarding them the title of star of the month. The star of the month is declared every month based upon the overall performance of a student for a particular month. The following points are considered for awarding the title on a monthly basis.
The students are awarded the title in the assembly and are given a badge which they wear for the entire month, thus developing in them self-esteem, confidence & self respect.
