Residential facilities are now available at LPC, Sharda Nagar, Lucknow for boys only for classes III onwards. . Superintendents are on duty round the clock. Each boarder is provided with a separate bed and personal locker. All other articles, mattresses, pullovers etc. (as per the list given) are to be arranged by the parents/guardians. Breakfast, evening snacks and dinner is provided to them separately while lunch is served along with day-boarders. All day to day necessities are taken care of by the superintendents who are directly answerable to the Joint Director.
Visiting hours for local guardians/parents of the boarders are from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the 1st and the 4th Sunday of the month. A Boarder may be taken on the second Saturday and the second Sunday of the month and must report back either by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday or 8:00 a.m., the following Monday. No unintroduced local guardian is either permitted to meet the boarder or to take him home. In case the Parents/guardians wish to take the child/after/on a holiday, prior written permission from the Principal/Joint Director should be taken.
1. All item of clothing and linen should have the name of the child marked clearly on them in marking ink. 2. Items of uniform made out of expensive material should be washed by the children themselves. If sent to the dhobi and lost, those will be replaced by uniform made of standard material stocked in the clothing store. 3. Laundering and safe custody of civil dresses will be the responsibility of children themselves.
